Featured Poet #2: Emily Hasler

Emily Hasler was born in Felixstowe, Suffolk, but has escaped. She was an intern for the Wordsworth Trust, working on the contemporary poetry programme, and now lives in London working for the Society of Authors. In 2009 she won second prize in the Edwin Morgan International Poetry Competition. Her poems have appeared in various publications, including the Rialto, Poetry Salzburg, Warwick Review and Horizon Review, and have been anthologised in Dove Release, Birdbook, Clinic 2, Herbarium, The Salt Book of Younger Poets and The Best British Poetry 2011. She is a regular poetry reviewer for Warwick Review.

More recently still, Emily Hasler has published her first pamphlet of poetry with Salt Publishing called Natural Histories. Her launch will take place the day before Fast Culture in London.
